Save the Date: May is Save Your Tooth Month

added on: May 17, 2021

We’re partnering with the American Association of Endodontists to celebrate how important it is for you and your Woodlands dentist to focus on preventive care and protecting your natural teeth as much as possible. We want to save them from dental decay and damage as much as possible! If you’re not sure, an endodontist is someone who specializes in root canals — yes two of dentistry’s most dreaded words. However, endodontists and your dentist in The Woodlands are actually true tooth savers!

We thought it was a good idea not to forget about this idea of saving your teeth, because it’s more important than ever to make the connection between having a healthier mouth and a healthier you overall. There’s no reason to neglect your oral health or deal with daily tooth discomfort. We’re your Woodlands dentist and we’re here to save you and your tooth from anymore misery.

Safety While Saving

This year the focus is on how endodontists and your Woodlands dentists are keeping your teeth SAFE as we work to SAVE your natural teeth. While we’ll most likely be wearing masks while we do all of this, we’re definitely going to keep smiling because we’re helping you to.

We’re focused on the theme of “worth saving” which is meant to bring to life that, like your natural teeth, there are things, people, and places that are well worth all the effort. In fact, the AAE Board’s directive would like to create a multi-year public awareness campaign with the goal that people like you will get the help they deserve from their Woodlands dentist with the training and expertise.

What Are the Next Steps?

Do you have a tooth or teeth that have been bothering you, but you’re nervous about getting help? Do you need a Woodlands dentist, but don’t know where to start looking for the right fit? When teeth are causing pain and discomfort, there’s a good chance they may be infected or diseased requiring some additional care. Sometimes it’s easier just to tell your dentist to pull the painful tooth, but that can negatively affect not just your oral health but your overall quality of life and confidence.
